JBL always had a good thing on its hands with the Flip series, but it seems like they rethought a couple of things that made the Flip 3 their best one yet. It was always small and portable, but the splashproofing and carrying string takes that to another level.

The Xtreme is a great and powerful speaker, but not everyone can afford a $300 Bluetooth speaker. Fortunately, JBL's new Flip 3 is one wireless speaker that's affordable and very portable too.

Let me put it this way: for all the money I've wasted on "bargain" Bluetooth speakers, I could've bought this in the first place, saving myself a lot of trouble. This has everything you want in a portable unit. And yes, this baby cranks up the volume! Buy it. Buy it now.

Great little product. Great sound and a very practical control layout. You can't drive the power too much but sounds great at all other levels.

This is my second JBL Flip speaker (previously had the Flip 2). Both have great sound quality for their size, and a reasonable price point. The new features of the 3 are welcomed, but not enough to warrant an upgrade from the 2 necessarily (my other speaker took a dive off a shelf and stopped...

Excellent sound quality with excellent battery life. Very solid built quality. One suggestion: company could fix a metallic strong net to protect outside the bass producing plates which are at two sides.

I use my flip speaker inside and outside. The wireless feature allows me to listen to my own music while still being alerted if I get a text or phone call. The sound quality is incredible and it's small enough to take anywhere.

Due to the round shape it does not stay in place very well. Rolls too easily; right off the table. And then it is broken, at least the speaker part. Still a nice battery charger.

Use it everyday. Like it so much may purchase another one.

Sound quality is great - i use it poolside and in the shower. Great handy portable speaker.
