The JBL Charge 3 is an outdoor-friendly portable Bluetooth speaker that packs a considerable bass punch for its size and price.

Powerful audio performance with solid bass response and well-defined highs. Water-resistant design. Speakerphone functionality. Can charge mobile devices.

Cannot backward navigate tracks. A bit bulky. Light on accessories.
The JBL Charge 3 is bigger and bulkier than the now-classic UE Boom. The app doesn’t do a whole lot without a second compatible speaker. However, the clever design includes bass radiators at each end, a “foot” that permits stable horizontal play, and noticeable low-end improvement vs.

IPX7 waterproof, anti-roll design, Dual bass radiators, 6000 mAH power bank

Smartphone app is limited to configuring JBL Connect-enabled speakers
The JBL Charge 3 improves water resistance, battery life and volume over its predecessor, but sacrifices sound quality in the process.

Waterproof, Loud, Good battery life

-
Weaker sound quality than JBL Charge 2+, Limited app
The JBL Charge 3 doesn’t feature the best sound you can get, but it’s a feature-packed Bluetooth speaker ideal for outdoor parties.

Call quality isn't horrible but sometimes the caller couldn't understand me.
At first sight, the JBL Charge 3 wireless speaker is impressive. It just comes across as something that oozes power. This well crafted audio cylinder looks the part of a tool that mean business. So, we took it for a spin.
When it comes to summing up the JBL Charge 3, there are some very clear determinations which can be made. For its size, this is a very loud, bassy and good sounding speaker. If you are new to the JBL range and are looking for a very decent Bluetooth speaker which offers a good sound, excellent...
JBL Charge 3 Review If you haven’t upgraded your portable Bluetooth speaker in several years you might be due for an upgrade as they have come a long way in recently. There are a ton of low-cost portable Bluetooth speakers available, but the high-end portable Bluetooth speakers that have come out...
I looked for a good long while for a Bluetooth water proof portable speaker. After seeing the ratings and price I decided on the JBL. Very pleased. Pairing was easy. After setting up the speaker for the first all you have to do is turn it on and select your tunes. Not all systems are that easy.

I chose this over the Beats Pill Box due to price. I have a friend who has a Bose, and I can't tell the difference between the two. It's a small speaker so you should know you're not going to get perfect sound, but we use ours in our garage and it sounds good and is loud enough to compete with other...
I have 2 speakers and love how they connect to each other. I can have one next to the jacuzzi and one next to the pool when guests come over. And anyone can connect to play their favorites!!
This speaker is great for outdoor and indoor use for the not too overly scrutinizing listener. I say that based on other reviews who may listen to a specific type of music genre that have gripes about this product and rate it very poorly.
This speaker is fantastic! The sound quality carries far and the speakers haven't blown out being pushed to max.

things in the kitchen appear to affect connection, (things like a wifi modem and microwave)
Great speaker for 100 dollars.. Hard hitting for the size. And a great plus,, you can link these to each other can have as many as 4 running off of 1 device. Getting a couple more great for the pontoon.. Wish I could upload an audio so you could actually hear this thing..
This replaced a JBL Charge 2 and I am very happy with the purchase. Good battery life and charging capability along with good sound/bass. I liked the new raised buttons on top that are easily identified by touch.
good day, I need to connect to an xtreme and I can not since the last update, please get a downgradeLo siento mi ingles es muy malo!... xD
It's my first blue tooth speaker and it works very well. I was a little skeptical about it saying waterproof and what exactly it meant but I took it to the beach and it was sprinkling and it did just fine. The speaker can play very loudly and has an awesome bass, plus a great battery life.
