Hp Pavilion Desktop, Intel Core i5-10400, 8 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD

Altogether this PC has some serious potential and I've only ever seen good reviews! I'm sure the cons can be chalked up to a short circuit between the chair and the keyboard, so I will do some snooping around on my issue and report back here!

  A compact little rig that punches well above it's weight class! Love the organization of the machine! The device is quick and keeps load times to a minimum so far. It can run most modern games like Minecraft, Borderlands 3 and Dark Souls 3 at reasonable settings!

  I love this little guy, but some things have come up recently. It has randomly decided to start stutter crashing at random times. (This is likely due to a heat problem, so I will update this review tomorrow!

This is a slick looking desktop computer. I usually use a laptop but decided to give this desktop a try and I am glad that I did. It is way faster than my laptop and looks really cool. I hooked it up to am old flat screen tv and it looks great. I LOVE the fact that it has bluetooth!

I purchased an HP computer less than 3 weeks ago. Today it shut off for no reason on its own. Suddenly the screen read it was doing an update then it shut off. I was shocked. I turned it back on after a min or two.

Has frozen a few times. I removed the ram, cleaned the connections, and reinstalled it securely, and the freeze went from 3 times a day to once a week. Not bad, but not optimal. Thinking of buying another stick of ram, and maybe two sticks, replacing the one it came with.

  Fast, small, easy to use. Lots of power for playing nearly any game you wish to play. Lots of ports for add ons.

It had to update the software, I understand, but when it tried to reboot, it got stuck on the "resetting" screen. After 2 hours, I finally got it past that and it booted up. It's ok for regular web browsing, but not really good for simple games, it tends to freeze.

I did some research and the AMD 7 4700G is a pretty good processor and the built-in graphics are good enough for most games. The processor is hard to find at the moment and only seems to be showing up in HP machines so far.

Id give it a higher rating if I could figure out the freezing issue.

  It freezes fairly regularly and I have to do a hard shut down. Its becoming really annoying

I paired this HP tower with my Dell 24" monitor. I love the ssd, always wish there was more space, but what I'm using this for, it works fine. It's a quick little machine, but with only 8 gb memory it does lag a bit in some applications. The size is amazing.

Fast SSHD with a DVD reader/burner. was able to DL old office pro cd's. wireless hook up for printer was painless. Good value. Only been using a week may update 6 months. from now. I have been using about 90 days now. So far like this PC very much. No issues at all. keeping fingers crossed.

This HP desktop plays movies. I feel like I'm in the theater. The surround sound is phenomenal. I can also play my music and feel like I'm in a concert. Everything is so much faster, feels like a new computer. I would definitely recommend this desktop
