I read about this new HP technology and I have been pleasantly surprised with the performance. Much quieter than previous HP machines and the printing is lightning fast. No wet ink on page to worry about and the machine is good-looking to boot!!!

I order and received first printed - couldn't load program. Had to send it back to Staples and order a 2nd printer. So far the 2nd printer seems to be working ok. Would be nice to have an instruction book instead of just on the screen.

  Very high print speed for an inkjet. Very fast duplex printing.

  Would not print a single page without streaks from missile jet nozzles. Followed all the procedures for correctly for setup. Ran all the cleaning procedures from the printer, still would not print a clean test page. Definitely not up to office standards.

Easy to set-up. Very intuitive. Fits on a desktop but is heavy and a little on larger size. Fast print. Sometimes grabs double sheets - so not perfect but very fast quality print. I haven't run coated photo paper thru it - only plain paper - I imagine with the better coated stock for inkjet it would...

This is the worst printer I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Since the day our laboratory bought it, it has given us errors every other time we go to print. It's still functional but you have to restart the thing every time you want it to work. Would NOT recommend.

HP’s new PageWide range of printers gets its name from a new type of printhead that extends the full width of the page. Conventional inkjets, such as HP’s Officejet range, work by shuttling a narrow printhead back and forth across the page, which takes time.
