Automatic duplexer. Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi Direct. Automatic document feeder. Fax. Prints through the cloud. Fast, high-quality photo printing in testing.

No Ethernet. Slow performance for business applications and low-quality text in our tests.
It’s difficult to actually pull the trigger and recommend the slowest office-ready AIO we’ve seen of late, but if you don’t print more than a few hundred pages a month, we like the Officejet 4650 as a low-volume printer--particularly for the print quality and the low cost per page.

Low purchase price, Excellent print quality, Easy to set up and use, Low cost per page with Instant Ink, Decent cloud and mobile-device support, Small and light, 35-sheet ADF
-
-
Slow to print, Uses two-cartridge ink system, which is pricey if not under Instant Ink, Small input and output trays, with input feeling flimsy, ADF does not auto-duplex
The OfficeJet 4650 offers a lot of features for a low price, scans black-and-white PDFs quickly, and prints text at a good clip. It delivers very high image quality all around. But slow graphics printing, a pokey automatic document feeder and sluggish two-sided printing limit its usefulness to...

Very high print and scan quality, Fast print times for text documents, Fast to scan to PDF, Subscription to HP Instant Ink program can lower printing costs
-
-
Slow copying and graphics printing, High cost per page relative to other inkjets, Slow start-up times
For casual users to intend to print between 100 and 400 pages per month of black and white documents, the HP OfficeJet 4650 is a no brainer. It’s got excellent print quality, giving you the same rich, dark text that you’d get from a laser printer.
A photo printed on regular copy paper (not glossy photo paper)

Excellent HP printer that is easy to set up and easy to work with; Instant Ink service means that you never have to worry about running out of ink and buying expensive replacement cartridges again; If you have a concern about your print quantities being monitored, you can refrain from connecting to...

Color photo and back & white text page printing speeds seem average to slow; If you don’t do many prints a month, even the lowest HP Instant Ink Service plan will seem expensive
The printer is wonderful. 2 sided saves paper. Every instruction is right there. Looks sleek and nice. Very quiet. Love the wireless!HP Support got me for $99 for setting it up by them remotely. My computer said it would not take the installation disc.
I've had other wifi HP printers before and have never had issues with them until now. This is the first printer I've had issues with, and I absolute hate this printer. After canceling print jobs, making sure there's nothing queued to print on my computer or my partners--the printer will continue to...
I had to have this once I seen that you could fax with it. We are constantly printing things out and needing to fax different documents so this printer was perfect. We've printed pictures and the quality is beautiful! I would recommend this printer hands down!

Compact Design, Easy To Set Up, Easy To Use, Excellent Print Quality, Fast Operation, Reliable
If the color cartridge is depleted the printer refuses to print a page of black and white text. Each cartridge is $15 a piece, so the costs are dramatically higher than a laser or local print service. You'll about 30 pages of color if you're printing a mix-media brochure that has some photos.
An inexpensive printer that puts out excellent qualty prints. Great for typical small jobs at home or in a small office. Setup took 10 minutes and everything works perfectly. No bells and whistles that are not needed and never used such as portable drive slots, fancy color displays, or even an...

Small paper tray capacity
My Wife and I were looking to replace our 5 yr. old Canon "All-in-One" with a more up to date HP. We set the printer up the next day and it printed just fine. Nice color and speed. Noted the top feeder was not working.

Poor Quality
Have been thru different printers over the years and went back to HP. Really like this one. It is more compact, has quiet print, the wireless works well. Set up wireless on all our gadgets and all connected and operate fine.. All digital touch screen. Very easy to follow. Easy set up.
Recently bought this to replace an older HP that quit printing black ink. Didn't need a large, expensive one so bought this to save money. Has worked out great. And contrary to what someone else said - it does print legal size paper. Only drawback is it is a bit tough to install the ink cartridges.
i love the features, but was not able to do a scan when i tried it and there is not booklet to instruct me as to how, even though it should be easy. i have scanned items before, but the touch screen does it by printer model number, i think, and this makes it confusing when using two different...
