The HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M477fdw is a compact color multifunction printer whose speed, strong feature set, and beautiful graphics make it an appealing choice to anchor a small office or workgroup.

Fast. Very good graphics quality. PCL and PostScript drivers. Wi-Fi, wireless direct, and NFC connectivity. 50-sheet ADF supports single-pass two-sided scanning.

Subpar photo quality. Running costs, particularly for color pages, is on the high side. Low paper capacity for an MFP of its price.

That's fine if that’s what you’re looking for. But we don't think it is, if you're ready to drop as much as $600 for a printer and that again for a full load of replacement toner.

When setting up a home office, the most often forgotten piece of tech and probably most important one is the printer. Yes I said it, the printer! For me it’s not a want or added piece of tech, its downright a necessity.

If you are thinking of buying this for business use, don't. The ADF will damage your customer's documents, and they'll notice. If you are on Windows 10, don't buy this printer unless you like troubleshooting software without error messages, and talking to tech support who will blame their product's...

This printer prints fast, has very crisp blacks and nice colors. The scan quality is ok if you use the flatbed scanner. If you're not on Windows 10, the installation is fast and easy. The configuration from the printer's touch screen is fast and easy.

This printer does not like Windows 10. The software on the CD, as well as the full software suite on the HP website will run, terminate without giving an error message, but the printer will not print.

I had been limping on a mono laser for years and finally bit the bullet. I am very happy with my purchase. This printer is faster than my old mono laser that I have had. Granted, if you are printing a complex full page color picture PDF, it will take a bit.

Love this printer.... just purchased, squeaks a little when scanning that I'm hoping goes away. HP support for this printer located in Costa Rica. Had to call 3 times not for problems but for connections to computer, scanning etc... they are awesome every time. Thanks Bryn, Lewis and Mauricio!!!
