I've owned a Bowen 3021 tripod and 3047 3 way head for over 20 years. I chose this model because I'm now shooting with a Nikonian D7200 and a Nikko 200-500mm f/5.6E. I chose the Nikonians/Markins 20i ballhead. The whole rig weighs less than what I had before and the stability is much better.

Sturdy, Well made & can handle big lens
Lightweight, Stable, Quick, Fast, Strong, and many others! I recommend this tripod 100%!
I use this tripod with the new canon 500mm lens and the wimberly gimble 200. Works perfect
Excellent so far just used it 3 times so still experimenting.

I use the Gitzo Tripod togethre with my Canon 5D Mark III with telelens maonly for wildlife pictures but also for macro pictures at very low levl on the ground. The weight of the tripod and the stability are great. I didn't discoverless positiev features
