HDR doesn’t bring a noticeable improvement over SDR, Cheaper rivals may offer better value
The Gigabyte AORUS FI27Q is a great monitor for most uses. Despite its gamer-centric features and design, it works well in an office setting due to its IPS panel's wide viewing angles, great peak brightness, and decent reflection handling.

Good ergonomics., Great color accuracy., Outstanding extra features.

Bad black uniformity.
The FI27Q and FI27Q-P can be viewed as incremental upgrades to Aorus's range of flat gaming monitors. Pushing refresh rate up from 144Hz to 165Hz is the headline enhancement, and with the FI27Q-P packing DisplayPort 1.4, the top-end model removes any shackles to drive a QHD resolution at 165Hz with...

Inverse ghosting at low FPS, HDR support is basic, £120 dearer than FI27Q
AORUS FI27Q-P gaming monitor: 1440p, 165Hz refresh, IPS panel, 1ms response, 10-bit color... it's all good... but very expensive.

the monitor I reviewed before this was the GIGABYTE G32QC
The AORUS FI27Q-X 240Hz QHD Gaming Monitor is currently priced at £645.99 on Amazon , which is to say, it’s pretty expensive. They do a 165 Hz model, the F127Q-P, which is £539.96 . However, you have to remember this is a Fast IPS panel, delivering a 0.3ms response times.

Aorus has refreshed its popular line of 27in gaming monitors with the introduction of the £650 FI27Q-X. Employing the same chassis as its FI27Q-P predecessor, the X's key upgrade is a new 240Hz QHD IPS panel that delivers top-notch results in most use cases.

Love this monitor but it isn't the best for dark games picture quality could be better even after changing settings it didn't get much better
Amazing monitor for everything from playing games like Call of Duty: Cold War on 1440p 165hz to get both high refresh rate and high resolution is amazing! This is also good for things like Netflix, watching YouTube especially with the great picture quality this monitor has to offer!
Monitor has no problems at present time
Excellent monitor.
One of the best budget 1440p gaming monitor hands down! No regrets buying this!
This is the best monitor I've ever owned, or for that matter seen so likely my review is biased by that. But what a great monitor! there is a bit of backlight edge bleed when viewing in the dark, but other than that the colours, size, refresh rate and resolution make this monitor well worth the...
The monitor was great for gaming and watching videos but had major flaw for me after watching a few reviews after receiving the monitor and noticing the text not looking so sharp I discovered the colours are arranged in BGR instead of the usual RGB which can cause text to appear blurry, some people...
The picture is comparing my old Asus budget monitor to the Gigabyte AORUS FI27Q-X, & the difference is night & day. I’ve been gaming for a week on this, (6900xt gpu) Warzone at 1440p medium-high graphics setting was hitting 140+ FPS which is a major advantage , I’ve been winning gunfights I would...
Best 1440p/240hz IPS out there in terms of price. Pretty close to the Alienware AW2721D but has some advantages and disadvantages. The cheaper price is worth it over the 270hz Acer Predator GX. Pros over other 240hz/1440p: No retention, ghosting and artifacting at lower frames rates.
Most expensive monitor I’ve ever bought, to replace one that just died after a decade. Excellent picture quality and response speed, Elite Dangerous looks incredible.
