My 6-year-old loves this fitness tracker! She’s still in the princess phase, so she loves the look of it and the game you get to play if you hit your activity goals. Like other reviewers, I was disappointed at first that the screen seemed really dark.
We've had Vivofits in the past, but over time things happen and we had to replace them. All our attempts to replace this watch with others was a disaster!! We came back to the Vivofit and we are so pleased!! It is the BEST of all kid fitness tracker watches by far!!

My kid has had this watch for over a year now. They love the game and timer. The chore alerts are great. The band has held up nicely. At about 10 months the tinne wasn't updating. After changing the battery and it still not working, I contacted Garmin and they had me send it back and replaced it.
Got this for my 6 year old -his sister's have the older version. This kid can move and groove and well, Garmin doesn't acknowledge his movement (which frustrates him slightly). Love that we can do the chore tracking with him.
I had this watch since may, and because of salt water, it has kind of deformed. I think because of that, my watch has been falling out of the plastic. Everything else is good, but that the watch falls out of the case.
I wish this watch came with a feature to adjust brightness. If you are not indoors, the screen is super dim and it's very hard to view. However, it is super comfortable for a fidgety seven year old and has the right amount of features to keep her interested in wearing it yet not play with it all...
