The Fenix 5X Plus is at the top of its class for fitness tracking and features, and sits among the best fitness watches , but the price tag may be prohibitive. Multisport athletes looking for precision tracking with a lower price tag should consider the Suunto 9 watch , which hit the market about...

Music transfer is clunky, Expensive
While many enjoy outdoor sports for the sheer joy, I am a very competitive person who also likes to geek out on the data that can be captured through these activities. So while I prefer to be outside running, biking, hiking, golfing, and fly fishing, I also always have at least one wearable...

Music setup is still a bit clunky, Expensive, Pulse Ox data isn't yet syncing to the app or Garmin website
The Garmin Fenix 5X does everything – and then some. The range of sports tracking is exhaustive and the new pulse ox acclimator gives it an edge in the outdoors – but it’s also more capable off the trail with features like Garmin Pay and music.

Mammoth size, Expensive, Still a bit ugly
The Garmin Fenix 5X Plus is just about the most complete GPS sports watch available. Whatever features you need, chances are this has them, but unless you're seriously into a number of different sports you might not get enough out of it to justify the price.

Onboard maps, Great design and build, So many sports supported

This is large, So expensive, Connect app can be busy
The Fenix 5X Plus looks great and is very comfortable. I wear it virtually 24 hours a day to monitor heart rate, sleep, pulse ox and various sports activities. The only time it comes off is when I connect it to my iMac to upload data to Garmin Connect and charge the battery.

Rugged, easy to see outdoors when doing activities. Many options available. Music storage on watch.

Still looking...
I'm going from a Fenix 2 so this is a huge step up.1. Unbelievably comfortable. I'm even sleeping with it on. Not heavy.2. Screen is really easy to read in and out of sunlight.3. Sat acquisition is practically instantaneous.
Best watch I have ever owned. The software/website and mobile app is amazing and easy to use. I haven’t worn my Rolex since purchasing this watch.
I was desiring much after having had all 3 versions of the Apple Watch. I will still use my Apple Watch 3 as I like its design. Now on too my new Garmin 5x Plus. I plan to use this for mountain biking in Colorado instead of my Garmin 1030 as that devise is great but not great for mountain biking,...
Cool looking , great features, lets for long with a charge!
Not cheap but great features and long battery life. Upgraded from Garmin 620.
Spent well over a day trying to get the watch to pair to my iPhone no luck. Tried another IOS device and had the same issue. I have a Fenix3 which doesn't have this issues. After doing an Internet search it appears this watch has some connections being reported from other users.
