The capstone product of the baseline models offered in Garmin's handheld GPS lineup, the eTrex 32x is much more capable than its price-point suggests. This petit handheld offers a user-friendly blend of simplicity and performance, by integrating higher-function sensors common in more expensive units...

Reasonably priced, includes barometric altimeter and electronic compass, small and lightweight, long battery life

Small screen, lack of connectivity, tedious user interface
So far, this little unit seems like a great item. Battery life appears good so far, and it has preloaded maps that will work for most. Once I got used to the programs to make maps, paths and such.. I was able to put together a very good set up for an up coming trip.
Nice affordable GPS and compact size, does the job without spending too much money, sharp screen good resolution, easy to navigate.
I bought the eTrex 32x last month. I especially like the 'tracks' feature where I can see exactly the path I have just traveled. This feature has been really helpful on BLM land where their might be many crisscrossing off road dirt paths.
I bought this as an upgrade from a etrex 20. Mostly used for geocaching and backpacking it does the job extremely well. It plays well with Expert GPS.
This is the second etrex that has had the thumb stick crack. The first died from the leak in Norway. The second I am keeping dry for now. Garmin solution is for me to buy a new device, when replacing the face plate would fix the problem. Good device if you buy a new one every year or two.

Klasa sama w sobie.
Langsam, umständlich zu bedienen. Ist sein Geld nicht wert !
