I replace an SkyCaddie SG5 with this little Garmin and I'm happy I did. It lasts about 54 holes on a full charge. The screen is small but I can see perfectly even without my "readers". If you don't need the colors and distances to bunkers, trees, and ponds, this is the one for you. I'd buy it again.
Works well, easy to use and easy to read. I would have preferred a watch but after reading the reviews on the Garmin S-10 watch it seems they had some problems with the wrist band so I purchased the hand held unit. I did not want a product that connected to my phone so this works well for me.
It is somewhat tricky to move around screens. The hardest thing is to use it only for time. You have to load a course, then hit BACK to get to the time. There is no direct route that I found. I works just like my Garmin watch but with the additional hazard, doglegs etc features.
Small, easy to use, and easy to see. I chose this because I have good distance vision but wear reading glasses. Since I don't wear glasses to play golf, I wanted something that I could read, would give me basic yardages quickly, and was light and small. This fit that bill.
played my first round and found it pretty handy and reliable. this gps has an option where in we can move the flag position in the green. it then provides front back and distance to the flag. i double checked the distances with my laser range finder and it was spot on ----- accurate.
It is accurate and easy to use. It has helped me with distances to pin or layup distance. Shows hazards well also. It’s a great GPS for the money. Nothing fancy just a great device for yardage measurements.
I generally play 2 times per week. Several times I've turned on Garmin and a message on the screen shows low battery. The first few times I thought it was because I didn't wait until it was fully charged.
Easy to use, accurate distances. Display is easy to read.
My husband loved this for his birthday gift. It’s small so it clips on his golf bag. We have a friend who has a larger one and it’s too bulky and he has to keep in the golf cart. Accurate with distance. I’d you’re looking for details on height, etc., you won’t get this..
I don't like to wear a watch while golfing so this is perfect for me.
