GE JGP5536DLBB 36 Inch Gas Sealed Burner Cooktop

We absolutely love the functionality of this cook top.especially the two power boil burners. However it ALWAYS looks smudgy no matter what we do to wipe it clean. I thought with it not being stainless steal I'd have less issue but I think it's worse. This is the only reason for my "average" rating.

Works fine, easy to clean but you really need to do something about the cheap , plastic knobs. Three of the 5 have stripped in just a year and I sometimes feel insecure about whether or not the burner is off. This cooktop was installed in a new spec home.

It has all the features I wanted and within my budget.

We've only had this in for a couple of days. I was cooking on a electric cooktop prior to this. In comparison this is heaven! The stove looks great. Installation was easy. I'm very happy with my new cooktop!

I like the performance and the looks of this range. It is very easy to clean. The 3 grills are easily removed quickly. I like that the 3 grills fit together which makes it easy to move pans from one burner to another. All burners ignite quickly.

Cook top cast iron grill is too high and therefore creating a much wider flame from the burner it is not able to heat up wok / cooking utensils quickly, loosing much heat in the cooking. It wasted much gas/heat when cooking.

We desperately needed a replacement cook top and this looked like a great value. It was easy to install and it's such a great cooking surface I look for excuses to make something at home. It lights up quickly and each of the burners provides exactly what you need.

Vertical profile is a little taller than anticipated. Only complaint is the lack of auto ignition if gas is flowing but without flame.
