GE 30" Black Slate Electric Smoothtop Range with Self Clean

Does a great job. Still getting used to the burners, understanding how hot they are. But they heat up quickly. Like the flexibility of the different size burners you can choose. Oven bakes evenly. Bottom drawer roomy and slides in and out smoothly (news flash, other brands, this is important!).

I love the SLATE color and the proformance is GREAT it heats up very fast and the timers are great also.The range light is very bright on the oven and the big and small burner option is great for the front two burners for big and smaller pans.All around I'M VERY PLEASED with my new range from GE

My husband and I couldn't believe the perfect self rising pizza that came out of the oven the first time we cooked, we just thought we were bad cooks when we used the old one, but it was because our oven was an older model and wasn't keeping the heat like the new one is.

Great looking slate finish and a smooth top surface I've been waiting for, but disappointed at how quickly splashes stick to the cooktop. Special ceramic cleaner is a must. Also, it is not recommended to cook with iron pans or ceramic, which I prefer.

I bought this range along with my GE dishwasher. Both have that great grey outside finish that I truly love. This range cooks like a dream, and the fast boil element makes boiling water for macaroni real fast. Love this range

Needed a new stove since the oven element in my old stove caught fire....liked the size, features, and color of this GE stove. Have been cooking with this stove for almost a month and everything is working perfectly.

I'm interested in this range, I was wondering if it is recommended for bottling? I currently have a cooktop that does great, but I don't want to have it shatter next fall.

If you value your health, I would not buy this oven. The oven at high temperatures and when cleaning emits toxic fumes. I have every window open, every fan on, and still need a face mask. It is the second glass-top range, as glass broke on the first one. No more glass-top stinky ovens for me!
