GE 30 Inch Electric Freestanding Range

I really like my new range except for 2 issues. The oven takes an extremely long time to preheat which seems odd to me. Also the drawer for pans is too small. I had to put some of my pans in a cupboard which defeats the purpose. But the stove burners all heat fast and the oven bakes well.

I wanted a very simple no frills stove that was smooth too and was self cleaning. Got it! Very happy with it.

Nothing fancy about the stove, just good quality and quick to heat up. Only complaint is the top is textured some and a bit challenging to keep sparkling clean.

This is a great basic stove that any cook would love. I like the fact you can choose either a small burner or a large to fit the type of pan you will be using.

If we had it to do over, we would not have purchased a new range, instead we would have fixed our existing range, a Whirlpool smooth-top of 17 years age. Once again we have discovered the hard way, that older is better.

Nice flat surface so nice compared to coils that were never flat. Fits nicely within the kitchen & is a great value for our rental property. Only thing that's a little awkward is the downward pull on the bottom drawer - would prefer a pull that gribs from below.

This stands up to everyday use, we have had this for well over 2 years and as a stay at home mother with a family of 6, this stove stands up to the challenge, it is easy to use, easy to clean and very reliable, I have it in black and I havent had any major issues with the range.

No thrills range. I have had one similar to this one for 2 years now and am pleased . I did experience a problem just the other day which I feel should not have happened for a two year old range. The controller for the 8 in.

I love this model - I researched other models and many were way to complicated with convection/conventional combinations. This is straight-forward reliable cooking and baking. Heat is evenly distributed in the oven, and I love choosing small or large pot on the front burners.

I do not spend a lot of time cooking, and do not need a be lot of extra features. This range gives me what I need at a good price.
