GE GDT695SMJES 24 Inch Slate Built In Fully Integrated Dishwasher

We got the slate GE applIances when we moved about 1 month ago. They look great, but none of them are wowing me in terms of functionality, at all. The dishwasher has much less capacity than I expected when compared to our previous dishwasher. It also has a cheap feel on the inside.

Dishwasher shows up box looks fine. The units is concaved, the washer device at the top of the unit is dislodged, the leg was bent, the box looked great. I want another unit but not from the same distributor. It was a real disappointment to get this unit and it be so damaged.

Main review is with ovens I bought, but in addition to trouble with the dealer and delivery, after many uses since November, the inner parts are twisted and lopsided, don’t know if they have melted from the steam heat or what...but it’s just not normal. Also the stainless steel look horrible!

An expensive mistake. The dishwasher worked twice and never again. Called warranty service, two weeks for service. Spent five minutes and ordered a part for delivery and installation in two weeks. On day of installation, called to reschedule. We threw this away and bought another brand.

worst investment ever. GE will not stand behind it either. DONT BUY!

The only reason for buying a "stainless steel" appliance is avoidance of rust. This appliance started rusting less than 15 months after purchase. I will never buy a GE appliance again. So now, both a fridge and a dishwasher from GE, same age, have the same problem.

This dishwasher has been AMAZING in the two weeks that I have owned it! I love the third row for silverware, I love the adjustable racks. The silverware tray is easily removable if you have taller bottles. Have I mentioned how much I love the third row? We have yet to use the traditional basket.

Way to expensive for the job it does. So disappointed. Don’t waste your money on this diswasher.

The dishwasher is pretty nice when it works. This review also reflects how GE does not stand behind their products, or value their customers or their customer's time. I purchased and had a new dishwasher installed in October of 2016 and it worked fine until January.
