easy to install, cools room adequately. like the thermostat features that turns unit on and off to make the condo comfortable..... downside.. a little louder than i like but good enough and really not that bad once I got use to it..... I was use to central air and just had to get use a wall unit.

Purchased this unit for my condo to replace an existing unit of the same model from 2006. Needed this brand/model to fit the current facade opening. It does the job, cools my living room down in the summer and not too loud (not quiet either but it's the nature of the appliance).

this is the unit that is the typical standard for my building, and it's a good unit. Must make sure to somehow insulate when it's fitted in as winter allows soooo much air in (which is not the unit's issue, just how it sits in the opening)

The unit is high up on the wall so it is difficult to read the setting unless we stand on a ladder. It is periodically noisy as there is no "constant on" setting only an energy efficient setting. When the compressor comes on it requires the volume on the TV to be adjusted.

Intended to be installed in the wall of a unit, this AC unit cools my entire condo! It even reaches my bedroom down the hall. Settings and remote make it easy to control the temp...there is even an option to set a timer for when the device goes on and off.

Cools my apt quickly, and I like the remote control feature

I absolutely HATE my GE air conditioner. It's very loud and has a rumbling sound that resembles tennis ball knocking around in a dryer. I had the first replaced with one with lower BTUs and it's just as bad. Now the 9900 BTU unit doesn't cool properly.

Works fine as replacement for 30+ year old GE, but control placement is an issue. Unit had to be mounted high on the wall, and except for really tall people, you can't see the controls.

My new GE air conditioner works much better than I might have thought. Keeps the room very cool and is relatively quiet.
