GE 10,400 BTU Soft Wall Air Conditioner

I have one A.C. that is approximately 6 years old and I love it. When I purchased this one, I expected the same. However, I am very disappointedd. When it is cooling, it is fantastic. However, once it shuts down, it waits until the room is very, very warm before it comes back on.

WE HAVE BEEN USING THIS PRODUCT FOR 15 YEARS AND WE ARE VERY SATISFY FOR IT'S PERFORMANCE, ALSO IT HAS REMOTE CONTROL THAT WE DO NOT HAVE TO MOVE FROM OUR SEATS WHILE WATCHING TV OR ON THE COMPUTER.

I bought this unit to replace a ten year old GE through wall air conditioner. This is the updated version that fits exactly through the existing wall housing. This unit is expensive and twice as loud as the previous defunct unit. This one sounds like a jet engine upon start up and while running.

If you have this unit mounted high on the wall you will need to be tall to be able to see the digital readout on the temperature control panel. It would be better to have it on the bottom.

A great looking and working AC. I purchased this AC in March and did turn it on, it was a lot quieter than I expected, it cooled the rooms off very quickly and I have no doubt it will work fantastic!

I replaced my all my units with these units. They are quiet and reliable. Love the remote feature.

The BTU`s on this bad boy are incredible! Love the power it packs! We really needed a new A/C especially since here inn Texas we deal with crazy heat. Our apartment cools well like a meat locker. Couldn`t be happier

It seems to be of good quality, but not sufficiently quiet.

For such an industrial size a/c it does not blow cold as it should for the small space that I live in.

It works much better than the previous unit. Fits in sleeve well
