If you’re a relatively new blogger or have recently started photography, this lens may be a great choice for you. It has many high-end features at a remarkably low price point and will not disappoint you with its stunning performance and outstanding quality.

  • +

Exceptional 4K video, Exceptional image quality, Traditional exposure controls, 100% phase detect AF coverage, Powerful and efficient auto-focus

  • -

Lacks image stabilization, as well as weather sealing, Grip is not ideal for larger lenses and photographers with larger hands, Rear touchscreen-only tilts up and down, unlike the X-T3 which also tilts to the right as well

The Fujifilm X-T30 is an exceptional value for the money, offering excellent image quality, a (generally) well-designed body with plenty of direct controls, and an autofocus system that handles most situations with ease, with face detection being a weak point.

  • +

Those seeking a lightweight camera with great out-of-camera image quality, flexible Raw files and top-notch video

  • -

Those seeking best face and eye AF performance. Serious videographers who need the very best spec.

The Fujifilm X-T30's dial-based controls are appealing to enthusiasts and pros, and it backs them up with speedy, accurate focus, 4K video, and a strong lens library.

The Fujifilm X-T30 is an excellent midrange mirrorless camera, but the Sony A6400 is better at video. The Fujifilm X-T30 is a solid choice for serious enthusiasts and semi-pro photographers who want a compact body filled with features, performance and excellent image quality.

Solid image quality, Responsive touchscreen, Excellent feature set

For $899, you’ll get a lot of value for your dollar with the Fujifilm X-T30, given the camera’s overall solid performance and its stellar image quality. This compact mirrorless camera is feature-rich and while, in my opinion, it would be a waste of money to use the X-T30 in auto mode, that option is...

The X-T30 crams a lot of technology and performance into a very small body. Sometimes it seems even too small, as it’s still a little too easy to press buttons by accident, and bigger lenses will inevitably leave it feeling front-heavy.

  • +

Excellent image quality, Powerful and effective autofocus, Traditional exposure controls, Small size

  • -

No in-body stabilisation, Placement of Q button

I have had the X-T30 about 11 months now with the 18-55mm lens, and after adjusting to it's differences from my Nikon, I really enjoy it. Frankly, it is hard under most circumstances to tell any difference in image quality between this camera and my go to Nikon D610 - however it is a lot less to lug...

The shots are amazing with this camera. Even if you are a beginner with using cameras or have no knowledge of the features, you can use it in auto mode and still get perfect shots.

I bought this camera when it first came out and I've never regretted it. I have a number of Fuji lenses now but still often return to the 18-55mm f2.8-4 as it's such a versatile lens for general walkabouts and days out.

Compact, retro look. I use it like my old film SLR. It's very well made and has possibly more then enough features to realise your photography needs both still and video/film making.

Bought as a second Fuji camera to avoid constant changing of lenses. I also own a XT-4 which is my preferred camera. The position of the Q button lets the XT-30 down as I am constantly accidentally activating it.

Personally I’d have liked the choice to have a different “kit” lens as I upgraded straight away! The 14-55 that came with the camera is okay if you’re starting out but I purchased this camera as an upgrade so felt like I needed to upgrade the lens too!
