It’s a pity that the X-T100 feels like a step backward from all the progress Fujifilm has made in recent years. It’s a stunning camera to look at and hold, and it does take some brilliant pictures when you get it right.

The Fujifilm X-T100 is an absolutely gorgeous mirrorless camera with strong image quality and a reasonable price tag, so it's a shame its autofocus performance doesn't measure up.

The Fujifilm X-T100 is a SLR-style mirrorless camera with excellent photo quality plus a unique articulating LCD, high-res viewfinder and great battery life. However, its autofocus subject tracking abilities are disappointing, with only 15 fps recording at 4K and overall poor video quality.

The Fujifilm X-T100 expands the X-T family of cameras, offering the mini-DSLR styling at a more affordable price-point than the X-T20 and flagship X-T2 models, whilst also adding a couple of unique features of its own in the shape of the three-way tilting LCD screen and Bluetooth connectivity.

More a cut-price Fujifilm X-T20 than a beefed-up X-A5, the X-T100 is an excellent entry-point to Fuji’s X-Series cameras. It looks great, takes wonderful pictures and doesn’t cost a fortune. Win-win-win. Spend a little more on the Fujifilm X-T20 and you’ll enjoy a serious jump in features.
