Fitbit's always been about adding to its collection — unlike many other tech companies, products stick around for years on its proverbial shelves. The Zip, for instance, that clip-based instigator of the Fitbit revolution back in 2012, was only recently discontinued. Why?
The Fitbit Inspire is a slim, stylish and waterproof activity tracker that offers a great performance in the features it offers, whilst also offering numerous accessories to change the look.

+
Slim and subtle design, Lightweight and comfortable to wear, Decent basic activity tracking, Waterproof to 50m, Smartphone notifications, Fitbit software platform is great
-
-
Lack of features compared to competitors, No swim-tracking despite waterproofing, Colour options mean coloured screen (some won't like this - but we do), It's expensive
It isn't inspired, but the Inspire does the job if you want a step counter with style, and not much more.
-
+
Easy to use, Petite, Attractive design
-
-
Very limited features, Battery life could be better, Not good for actual exercise tracking
Launched alongside the Fitbit Inspire HR, the Fitbit Inspire does away with the heart rate monitor to hit a lower price point.
-
+
Bright touchscreen OLED, Clean and intuitive Fitbit app, Water-resistant, Good battery life

No HRM, No Connected GPS, Stiff strap, Not significantly cheaper than the Inspire HR
So far I really like this. Wanted to upgrade my Charge to something more accurate and waterproof. I saw that the Inspire was being released soon and at a really great price point.Set up was easy. The charger is great. It came with both small and large wristbands.
Not sure why one reviewer said battery doesn’t last, because I only need to charge it 1x/5 days, just like it says. I also bought the clip holder to clip it on my pocket when I don’t want to wear watch band. I was pleasantly surprised to find out it reads off my text messages from my phone too!
Very easy to set up. Really does automatically recognize swimming (the older FitBits didn't). All of the features that i have used work well. Also like that it has a clock; the one I had before didn't. Only drawback is that the battery doesn't last anywhere near 5 days; more like 2.
The color is great and all the features are excellent. It is light and comfortable to wear. Besides wanting to track fitness, I have been experiencing difficulty with my sleeping habits the last few months, so I bought mine in hopes I could work on my sleep.
This is a perfect fitness tracker for people who don’t need the extras of a full smart watch. I like the choice of clock faces, the auto-recognition of many common exercises and sleep tracking. It also will vibrate to notify if I haven’t moved at least 250 steps each hour.
My Alta could no longer hold a charge so this is my second Fitbit. This model is so lightweight - I often forget it's on my wrist! The functionality is really great on it.My only two negatives are: (1) I can't alter my screen info - on the Alta I was able to remove things that I didn't care to see...
This one replaced my Fibit Flex 2. I am glad that this tracker provides a lot of information (steps, calories burned, timer and stop watch) at your wrist; no need to have it connected to a PC or mobile phone for such information. You only need to connect it for sleep tracking info.
Love this item, had 2 other FitBits but love this one the best. Battery life is excellent, stylish and does everything a more expensive tracker does. Very satisfied.
I do love this fitbit except for the wristband......I wish it buckled . It is very hard to snap this band in place otherwise it is perfect for me as far as tracking my walking....water intake...excercising..etc. It does not have the heart monitor but it does track everything else!
Iʻve had a FitBit Flex 2 for the last two years and have liked it very much, but I was attracted to the "Inspire" because of the read out right on the wrist band, which the Flex 2 does not have.
