Overall, this guitar is pretty good. Replacing the pick ups might be something you would need to do. Other than that, this guitar rocks! Check out my video demo for this guitar!

The Epiphone 310 was my first guitar and served the purpose well. With it I encountered electronic and pick-up problems occasionally that were simple fixes like loose screws or wires. Mine was strange in that some days the tone was easier to adjust or it was easier to tune.

I bought this guitar to use for my new metalcore band I was joining. But, when I got it the bridge pickup just would not put out the sounds and volume I needed it too. So I changed the bridge pickup to an emg 81. This now sounds fantastic.

The G-310 is a good guitar, especially for the money you pay for it. The way to get the best sound out of it is to change the machine heads and maybe the pickups, but it's honestly a very good guitar. The ONLY complaint I have is that it goes out of tune faster then other guitars usually do.

The Epiphone G-310 SG electric guitar is great for beginners and pros alike. This will be your ultimate pick if you are just into basically any rock and do not have lots of dough. The only thing we were left wishing for is a tremolo on it; but alas, this is probably the best you will be able to find...

Well, it's pretty east to see that I like the build quality and playability of this guitar, but the sound always bugged me. I tried SOOOOOOO many things to try and get good tone out of this guitar; nothing worked.

To be honest, I'm probably pre-sold on the stylistic appeal of this guitar. But I can also fairly say that my hands feel good on this guitar, and I'm very picky in that field -- many guitars that I thought I would love (the Gibson ES-333, the Line 6 Variax, the Rickenbacker 360 12-string, the...

I bought this guitar in a Cash converters second hand shop for R1300 which is about 150 dollars. I've wanted an sg model guitar for years but never expected to be able to afford one for a few years yet, sowhen i saw one this cheap at the second hand shop i knew i had no choice, I HAD to get it I...

I really like this guitar for the price. I bought a used ebony one a few years ago and have been playing it with my band ever since. Even though it was second hand it has a nice, clean look to it. The knobs are clear and very cool looking. The sound is also very good.

I've been playing this guitar for six months, and I can say it's perfect for starting, if you are planning to join an heavy metal or any other extreme band. It's very simple, with balanced skills, maybe not exceeding in any of them but this make this guitar the fittest choice for someone who has...

It fits my style of playing. I learned to play acoustic guitar when I was 14, and played with bands in high school and college, but I didn't have my own electric guitar and I just used guitars from friends from other bands during jam sessions and gigs.

I play a range of music from classic rock/blues ( , ) to Grunge/Punk ( , ) and prog/alt rock ( , ). This guitar is a good enough match for most of those genres/artists, it's just let down by a mediocre clean sound. I've been playing for a year and a half, and this is my second electric guitar.

I play Progressive Rock and Punk, it sounds fine, but it could be a world better. I wish I'd gone with something even lower end, I could have but the extra cash I put on this one towards my second guitar. If stolen or lost, I would probably forget about it, since I have a .

I like mid-high gain stuff and when it comes to soloing, words don't come. I'm glad I chose this guitar as my first and I'm gonna use it forever. If it were stolen I would track it down, period. I've got to say I love it for everything, especially it's sound.

isn't a versatile guitar, so if you're planning to buy it as the first axe in your life and you're not sure what kind of music you're going to play, look for another guitar. But if you've already decided to play hard rock or metal and don't want to spend too much money - take , a real 'overdrive...

It's been through some battles over the last couple of years and has held out well. I have this and a , and also a acoustic, both of which I did a review on. It has some good tones and covers a range of styles. It looks a bit gothic maybe, but it still looks nice.
