Electrolux 30 Inch Electric Double Wall Oven

Chic, but a few shortcomings.

I have bought 3 applicances from Electrolux and have already gotten rid of the refrigerator after 4 years for multiple service repairs. The oven is the next to go. Don't spend your hard earned money of these products just because they look good.

  Where do I start. I have replaced the self cleaning sensor 3 times in 5 years. The sliding racks got stuck 2 times in the out position not allowing the oven door to close, 1 of the pilot ignites blowing up in your face. Need I say more.

The glass cover on the bottom oven door came off! handle, glass, everything came off in my hands as i opened the oven door. It appears to have been glued on. Not one bolt. Glue on an appliance that heats? Unbelievable.

We had this oven in our last house and loved it. It is a very good value compared to it's peers. The inside is a beautiful blue. Love the quick preheat setting and the oven thermometer. It's a perfect choice.

We installed these double ovens five years ago. The control panel has quit. The replacement part is $1200! Electrolux offered a 10% discount on the part. Not good enough! We will never buy Electrolux again. Going with GE this time.

After use of the self cleaning feature, the ovens have failed drastically and cannot reach or hold temp. Even when we set either oven to 500 degrees, it will not reach 300 degrees. We have spent hundreds of dollars on replacement parts, thermostats, control panels, etc.

We are so happy that we chose electrolux. We use it every day
