Domke F-5XZ RuggedWear Shoulder Bag

Great for a day trip when you do not want everyone to know that you are carrying an expensive camera. It will limit your equipment to a camera, an extra lens, and maybe a flash or extra battery and filter case. I like the zipper top and also fold over flap.

I think this product serves me well. I like it because it's compact and suitable for me as a casual photographer. Moreover. it's not look like a camera bag so it does not draw attention.

Domke hits it out of the ballpark again. This is the perfect bag to avoid sticking out in a crowd. The waxwear finish is durable and timeless. It does the exact opposite of screaming "expensive camera inside!

Its an amazing bag for a small camera-outfit and it actually holds a surprisingly good deal extra if 'packed' with thought. The only thing thats kinda of irritating in daily use is the lack of velcro-silencers on the front flap - several of the competitors have incorporated that since long.

This is my second Domke bag, the first being the original design - the F2 - also wax-wear. Now I really like the F2 but there are times when I do not want to carry all my kit around. So I started looking for something smaller, my choice was the F5.

What were they thinking? This would be a great bag IF they would've made it to fit a PRO camera! However, IF you don't have a PRO body or handgrip on your camera, then for you this bag would be fine!

I have had the F 5XZ for about a month now and I am extremely happy with it. The materials and the all round quality of the bag are second to none. The bag looks great and I feel it doesn't scream camera bag to thieves though the Velcro is a bit loud and this can draw attention.

Bought this bag along with a F-5XA. I always use a "two bag" system with a small and a larger bag. The idea is to be able to take along only the size of kit I will need. As I never use everything at once, I either take the small or large bag leaving the other behind.

I haven't had this bag long yet, but have fallen in love with it. The waxed brown canvas finish of the bag looks great - really great - and appears that it is well constructed and will be hard-wearing.

Great material, just not enough functional pockets and storage. The design is such that if you use the pockets (with no zippers), whatever you put there is likely to fall out. Returned it for a Crumpler and am very happy with it
