Nothing at this price
The Denon Heos app and smart feature support isn't perfect, but sound quality and features are amazing. I paired this receiver with klipsch reference permiere speakers and couldn't be happier.

Heos support isn't great
Sound quality is very good with my KEF R300s on the sides and C600 at the center. Havent tried surround yet. Streaming with HEOS works flawlessly on Spotify. HDMI ARC works very well and somehow it just works magically with my Samsung TV remote, with which I can directly control some streaming...
I just got it and this thing blows my mind how it sounds

None so far
for my living room home cinema, recently i bought onkyo tx rz820 and paired with Pioneer Elite SP-EBS73-LR Dolby Atmos Bookshelf Speakers with center channel (all are 4 ohms) along with dynamo 1100x sub.the set up 3.1.2.. I am totally immersed by the onkyo sound and dynamic range .

no dynamic sound and no excitement while watching movies . Over manipulated Audyssey processing
I purchased the Denon AVR-X4500 because I had two 7.1 systems with Klipsch reference speakers. I decided to upgrade my Onkyo 787 receiver and am glad I did. The music and movies come to life with the processing power and sound of the Denon. The only problem I experienced was audio dropouts.

9.2 channel processing requires external amplifierRemote control is not back-lit
Only had this a couple of weeks every time I use it I seem to find something else that it does or connnects to which is good, although a bit confusing as I’m not always sure if the remote iPad or Alexa is controlling the unit.Really happy with the sound quality well worth the investment.
