More muscular and powerful than its predecessor, Fast, dynamic and detailed, Packed with features and connections

Edged in some areas by stiff competition
This receiver was easy to set up and I used the Audyssey mic and settings. The on-screen set-up menu takes you through each step and it's very easy. The reason I'm giving 5-stars is the sound, it's outstanding. I had an older Denon receiver and I didn't realize what I was missing.

None for me but I was already familiar with Denon and knew what to expect.
"Upgraded" from an Onkyo device to get multiple HDCP2.2 inputs which work well. Fun to have "Alexa" capability too. Atmos Sounds good which is really the main thing. One downside that was not immediately apparent is that despite Component /Composite inputs this is not converted to HDMIPleased to...
I like this AVR better than the ONKYO, I had. The remove app seems MUCH more stable. Easy set-up. Having to use 2 apps to stream music. Really!Would recommend.

Easy set up. Like the Wifi antennae, but I use wired connection. Much better than the old AVR.Overall I like it.

Have to down load Denon and Heos app. Connecting streaming music was cumbersome.
