If you're looking for a gaming PC that can handle VR, The Oculus-certified Dell XPS 8900 Special Edition has a relatively small and sleek design and offers good 1080p gaming performance without breaking the bank.

Reasonably priced. Sleek, compact case. Open slots and bays for upgrades. Good performance.

No solid-state drive. Only a single GPU.
One of the least-expensive Oculus-ready PCs, the Dell XPS 8900 Special Edition hits the required specs for virtual reality, but just barely.

The XPS 8900 is a decent-looking desktop tower with reasonable expandability. It's only $999 as part of an Oculus Rift bundle, and includes a very good graphics card.

This VR-on-a-budget configuration may feel dated quickly as VR games become more ambitious. The Core i5 CPU holds this system back from being a PC-gaming workhorse.
This desktop computer has a 6th Generation Intel i7 quad-core processor, and Dell provides 24GB of DDR4 RAM which is quite a bit more than some similarly priced setups. The hard drives on this desktop are terrific since it has both a 2TB mechanical storage drive and a 32GB solid state drive for your...
I would definitely recommend this tower.

Wonderful system for the money. Great features at a good price. I've had an old tower for a long time and I noticed immediately how powerful the i7 processor was. The tower is very quiet while it runs. This is true even when I pushed the cup to use 100% capacity.

You'll need to upgrade eventually i.e. Adding ram and another video card.
Set up went flawlessly. Up and running with Windows 10 in no time at all. Paired it with a top rated ASUS monitor. Hi-Resolution photos are incredible ! Games run fast with no delays. Wi-fi and blue tooth work fine. USB ports on front very convenient. If I bought it again I would also grab speakers.
