It's not the most feature-packed monitor you can get for the money, but the Dell UltraSharp 27 (U2717D) is a fine general-purpose display.

Feels a little flimsily built.
The norm these days seems to be going with thinner bezels on everything from phones to laptops and monitors. Our Dell U2717D review takes a look at the Dell UltraSharp 27 InfinityEdge LCD QHD monitor. Read on to see how it performs under regular daily use.

Back ports can be a bit of a pain to access
Dell UltraSharp Series has been one of the most popular choices of display monitors over the years and Dell is known to refresh the lineup every one or two years. The U2717D UltraSharp 27 InfinityEdge is this year's latest 27" model which features a 2560 x 1440 resolution IPS panel with ultra-thin...
My team has 16 of these monitors. They look great and we love them. However, don't count on the display port. We've had lots of flickering issues when using display port cables. HDMI seems to work a lot better with them.
Picture quality on this monitor is pretty much perfect. I have it on custom color without making any alternations since Standards feels a bit too dark. I mostly use it for anime on pc (I sorta perfer a smaller screen for watching anime to read the subtitles faster without needing to wear my...
This would have received 5 stars except for the fact that (I bought 2) one of these monitors glows worse than the other even though it is not bad enough to return. Both monitors were calibrated using a ColorMunki and XRite software, yet one can still see a difference when looking at a neutral grey...
I had the prior version of this monitor, and this one is definitely a few leaps better. Same infinity edge that is great, the back plastic cap has been removed (which makes accessing ports MUCH easier), and the stand neck is a little wider than the previous model.
Purchased this for my 2013 Macbook Pro for use at my office. Works perfectly without issue. Came with the display port cable in the box. Would highly recommend this display for older Macbook Pro users. As good, if not better than the Apple 27 LED display (which I use at home).
This screen is gorgeous. It works perfectly with my 2011 Macbook Pro with its included mini-DisplayPort to DisplayPort cable. The color accuracy is great on this thing. I poked around on the internet and turns out the best factory setting is to set it to the built-in factory configured sRGB profile,...
I really like using this monitor. I have been using it for 2 years. It is an upgrade from my Dell Ultrasharp 2709W That I purchased in 2009, it still wotks. This monitor the U217D works well, it it is not built as sturdy as my old monitor, which still works. I like using the display port.
I upgraded from a 1080 display (also a Dell) to this 2K monitor and I couldn't be happier. The colors are vivid and the text is sharp and clear. I use this monitor for work, so it was very important that spreadsheets and other documents look sharp. This monitor didn't disappoint.
It's great. It's finicky with Displayportwith my 2012 mac mini - but it's great. The Dell stand is always great and the cables provided are good too. HDMI works like a champ rock solid. The mac issues are with my mac minimodel, not the monitor.
The first monitor I bought had a sizable bit of dust behind the screen that I wanted to ignore, but it was positioned in the upper right where a few of my regular websites and apps have buttons, drawing my attention to it constantly.
