Big and beautiful, the Dell Ultrasharp U3818DW is an excellent professional-grade display. While contrast could be better, its excellent color accuracy, sharp picture, competitive price, and good warranty help it stand out against its main competitor, the LG 38UC99-W.

It's not perfect in every way, but overall it is an amazing monitor. The resolution and details are excellent, the real estate is excellent too. With regards to picture quality, another IPS monitor that I have seems better in terms of better contrast and brightness linearity.

I've had it for couple of months and love it. Lots of area, easy on the eyes and easy set up. Using it with a Dell XPS.

I've been working with dual 27" displays for quite a while, but having that zone in the middle of un-usable space was always a bother. With this new display, it's truly remarkable how efficient it is... and the Dell Display Manager is what makes it all work seamlessly.
