While not nearly as glamorous as Dell's own 13-inch and 15-inch XPS siblings, the Latitude 7480 is in some way the business-equivalent of those well-received mainstream machines.

+
outstanding build quality, great battery life, bright, non-glare display, attractive design, quiet and unobtrusive, great overall performance, IR Camera wouldn't unlock the notebook
-
-
very noticeable coil whine, lacks physical docking port (no legacy docking station support), pointing stick arrangement still not perfect, CPU performance somewhat lower, still not as light as the competition
Overall, the Dell Latitude E7480 rounds all of the important bases for a premium business-class notebook, and we’re glad to send it off with a well-deserved recommendation.

Solid build quality, Good keyboard and touchpad, Beautiful QHD touch display option, Excellent overall performance, Plentiful port selection, including USB Type-C with Thunderbolt 3

Can get pricey when configured with options, No more snap-in docking solutions, Card reader only for MicroSD, Cooling fan can be noisy, IR camera not available with all display choices
This is a world-class machine. One of the best U-series ultrabooks on the market. Hands down. Beats out every machine out there in this category. You can also run an EGPU on it if you would like. ;-)
Good price. Good function. No waste at all. very up-to-date product in 2018.
After using a while small problem started to pop up here and there
The fifth star was not marked due to the higher weight than expected.
great value, the laptops both look new and unused.
Assembling quality below expectations
The Laptop was not "new" as described when ordered. Upon arrival, the Laptop was clearly registered to someone named, Steve Rich. Therefore, the Laptop was returned for a full refund.
Description is wrong. This does not have 1 - 8GM DIMM, but 2 4-GB. That made it kind of inconvenient when purchasing additional memory. This also does not actually have a SIM slot even though the description shows that it does.
The laptop worked for 2 days and then gave me the blue screen of death :(
Ordered Dell Latitude 7480 i7-7600U NVMe SSD 14 inch FHD 1920x1080 Win10 Pro Business Ultrabook - 16GB DDR4 512GB SSD Came with a touch screen and fingerprint reader upgrades. These were not advertised. It came sealed non-retail Dell packaging. 3 years warranty started the end of August 2017.
