The latest Dell XPS 13 (XPS9360-4841SLV) delivers the perfect combo of 7th generation Core i7 performance, a premium build, a gorgeous QHD+ touch screen, with class-leading connectivity including USB-C with Thunderbolt 3 support.
Very compact frame. Solid 7th-generation Core i7 performance. QHD+ (3,200-by-1,800) display is breathtaking. USB-C port with Thunderbolt 3 interface. About 13 hours of battery life in testing.
The webcam is awkwardly placed.
This probably the best laptop I've ever owned. It's super fast and whisper quiet. The quality is great all around all the way from the screen to the keyboard. It's light but feels very solid. I re-imaged it right out of the box and Windows 10 picked all the corrected drivers.
After 4 months the battery failed. Video card failed. Save yourself a lot of trouble and look elsewhere.
Got the Win 10 Home version out of the box. Battery life is good (for now). Love this laptop.
I bought this laptop as a gift for my niece for college. The laptop stopped working in less than a month. It would power up, but there was no video display. This is a common problem with this laptop. Too bad, because she really liked it, luckily for her she backed up all her data in the cloud.
Works well for me, but screen flickers sometimes(am still scarred of this!!). Returned the 1st one I bought bcos of multiple issues, especially screen flickering, Hinge crackling , inability to turn off airplane mood once turned on, except if you restart!
I'm getting pretty bad battery life unfortunately. Im getting about 4 hours. That's on medium brightness and with the balanced mode enabled in power settings. This is a great computer but do not expect a great battery as dell says.
Can't blame the app scaling issues on the laptop itself, but I could not find a software-based solution to the coil whine and screen flickering issues despite my best efforts. These are commonly reported problems.
Open it up, start setting it up, and screen goes black. Have to force-shutdown and restart. Then get a the blue screen of death (likely a bad hard-drive). Force shut down again, and restart and it works. But this keeps happening over and over on the first day of use.
So excited to get this 4k laptop. First one arrived and wouldn't charge. Replacement unit just got here and it's DOA can't find the hard drive zero boot... I'd avoid this laptop my .02
The laptop comes with a major defect - coil whine. I am surprised that Dell has not fixed this problem for its flagship models. I need to have a replacement immediately.
