DJI Goggles have been collecting a lot of publicity recently. Ever since DJI announced them packaged together with the Mavic Pro, people haven’t stopped talking about them. It does not come as much of a surprise considering there aren’t that many good FPV goggles on the market.
Hi:I've recently purchased a set of DJI goggles to complement my DJI fleet.I use the DJI Phantom 4 Pro Plus & the Mavic Pro so I figured why not the goggles.Love them. If you race they may not do the job you want them to, but if your a photographer I think you'll like them.
Several things to note: These seem to have excellent optics & screen resolution, but I cannot use them until my new reading glasses show up. The focal distance is about 14", and my glasses don't get me quite there. If you have excellent near-vision, you should have no troubles.
If you have ever wanted to climb inside your aircraft so you could direct the camera from the pilots seat, THIS is what you can do it with. I have a tablet for my Mavic Pro and while you can fly just fine with it you dont feel connected to it - more of a detached relationship.
I have to say that the negative reviews were spot on. Leaving the issue of price aside, the goggles are heavy, they don't fit well, are uncomfortable, and perhaps most importantly, some will need to wear reading glasses under the goggles.
Used these goggles in conjunction with a Phantom 4 Pro. The VR aspect of these goggles is amazing. It's my first goggles, and I was not disappointed. It's so much fun to see the neighborhood from the air, rather than just watching the drone fly around.
