First off, for those who is looking into buying this sub for home theater use, it is NOT design for that. This sub is designed for live sound applications only. DJ, Production, etc.. Now to my review-- This sub is all you need for small to medium gigs.
loudest subwoofer I ever heard outside of a concert. It literally makes your heart skip a beat I highly suggest this if you love bass
Cerwin vega has out done themselves! Not even 24 hours after I got my 18 inch weapon of destruction .. I had my whole block pounding on my door.... One neighbor whinnied ( he lives 5 houses down mind you) I was shacking (not vibrating or little pounding) but shaking the chair he was sitting in...
Nice low end hit even at low volume. I would recommend these only if you want to feel your music. They are big but so what !!! They sure move the air.
This sub was purchase to replace an 18" JBL unit and what a surprise, this thing is incredible. It is so loud I had to turn it down, where the JBL was running full throttle. Even at low volumes and idle this CV vibrates brick walls. No distortion and no noise.
