Had this camera for about 2 years. I trust it and it has never let me down. Picture quality is great and low light is great too. I like the way the camera looks and all the buttons you can use insted of going into the menu to find what your looking for. Very intuitive to use.
Simply the most outstanding, beautifully crafted run-n-gun documentary film camera on the market. Coupled with an Atomos Ninja II for ProRes in excess of 120 Mbps, the C100 out-performs the original C300 for a fraction of the cost. The hand grip fits like a glove.
Loved the camera - will be posting a full review soon!
Not happy with the green cast on all footage, no matter the white balance, expose or camera profile (including C-Log).
Very nice. But not 4K, but who cares
Good image produced by Canon, definitely has the skin correct unlike sony which has an off skintone
I LOVE THIS CAMERA. Yep, I bought this with the 24-105 and added a 16-35 MKIII to the mix. I am going to be filming a documentary this summer and while I own a few mirrorless and DSLR cameras, none were giving me the look I was after.
This camera resolves 1080 beautifully, and is a very solid performer, however I wish to go straight to a feature that should be improved: The only progressive output available in 1080 via the HDMI port is 60p. When set to 29.97 or 23.98.
A pleasure to operate. I love using the new viewfinder and 3.5" OLED monitor. The ergonomics are excellent; very lightweight considering how much it offers. Unusually beautiful 1080p image thanks to the in-camera 4K sampling. Great lowlight performance.

Durable, Great Features, Great Picture Quality, Simple Controls
