The optical quality is pretty good. It's not quite up with my Swarovski 10x42 EL SVs, but you wouldn't expect that. Very sharp and clear image. There's a little chromatic aberration, producing slight colour fringing when looking at high contrast targets (say a perched crow against a bright sky) but...
Handle well and the stabiliser is a useful feature for distant birds. Can also be good for astronomy. Four stars because of cost.
