Bushnell 8x42 Legacy WP Binocular

These are my sixth pair on binoculars. It took that many times to find the perfect set for my needs. I wanted exceptional clarity, high quality, light weight, fully multi-coated optics, and premium BaK-4 prisms in a set that are comfortable to use. These deliver on all my criteria.

These seem good enough for me. I do not hunt, but use them for checking distances to the gate, mailbox, viewing birds, other animals etc. I do not have any prior knowledge, but did do a little online research & wanted binoculars to use on an area of land of approx.

I bought these to replace three other sets of binoculars...a pair of 20x80's (which must be mounted on a tripod), a pair of 15x70's, and a pair of inferior quality 7-21x40's. That pair had cheap quality prisms and the first two were too heavy to use for astronomy.

We have some birdfeeders in the backyard and these binoculars are perfect for a close up view of songbirds.They are very easy to focus and quite comfortable in the hands and on the eyes.

Bought this pair many (15+) years ago. decided to get another if they had them still.. Yeah!

A new experience for me; seeing clearly at a distance using binoculars with my glasses.Highly recommended.

had a pair of these b4 ,, lost them when our canoe capsized.liked them so much i had to get another pair..

I ordered these for general use and could not be happier. Sharpness and clarity is astounding. The 12 close focus is great for back yard birding. In normal daylight my eyes say they are equal to my Swarovski ELDs. I expect you would see some difference in twilight, such as hunting in timber.
