Good to begin with fisheye lenses.. The sharpness is quite good for the price of those lens.. It's very cheap! I'm happy with it for my first Fisheye lens! When I purchased I thought I would miss the autofocus, but the focus range is wide and its realy not hard to achieve the focus, everything is...
Strength: Amazing wide angle lens for a lot of fun shots. As a mountain biker, I love how you can get right into the action and come up with some really fun pictures. Makes small curves bigger and turns flat ground upright. Simple operation and the AE model I have works for metering.
Got to say, I use this lens 95% of the time. Great price point, but there is some fringing that happens, but nothing that cannot be corrected in Lightroom.
This is the first lens I've ever bought that was not a Canon lens. I was scared, but I'm glad that I went for it. It works very well and has helped me take some very cool images. It works with the light meter on my camera but everything comes out a little overexposed so I need to adjust it to be at...
I am very new photography, and just got my first Canon DSRL (Rebel T6) about a few months ago. I was curious about a "fish-eye" lens for my DSLR and I found this one. First off, it's sucha nice quality and built so well. It is slightly heavy, but that just means that it is build so nice.
This is a great lens for the price. If you are trying to improve your photography skills this works wonderfully! This lens really allows you to connect to the photography process because it is a manual lens. It was a bit hard for me to tell if everything was in focus on my camera.
This lens is wonderful for the money! It's a strong build and as sharp as I need it for the few times I need a fish-eye lens. I have a full-frame camera and was frustrated that the hood is not removable and so it shows in photos, requiring a crop of every image. So...
I am a Realtor, this lens gives me an extra edge over my competition. I use this selectively for photos. Great for the panning shots in my virtual tours.
Aside from the difficulty found in shooting with such an absurdly short fish-eye, and some initial mechanical issues, the lens is a real gem considering it's price. I was initially dissatisfied with the lens as I could never seem to get shots properly in focus, even at infinity.
Takes very crisp and clear images. Was very impressed with this lens, probably the best bang for the buck if you are looking for a decent fisheye lens in this price range.
