I use this lens primarily for nightscape photography. I love everything about it. There's very limited distortion in the corners, a very balanced distribution of light, and it's built like a tank. Don't necessarily trust the focusing labels, but that hasn't particularly affected my photography.
This isn't a bad lens at all. Is it the same quality as a Nikon 2.8f 14-24MM....No. But does take some amazing photos, great for real estate photos, landscapes and even weddings. I will be using this as a wedding lens as I do not shoot a ton of super wide angle shots.
This Fisheye lens is a great access for my Nikon D600. Night shots is really cool. I am happy to have purchased this lense.
I have been using manual lenses (including Rokinon) for over 30 years, and just couldn't get this one to play nice with me. It even seemed to seat improperly on the camera (which could explain the focus issue.) It was ridiculously fuzzy when I opened it fully, which is mostly where I need it.
very professional looking results from this lens. Can't use it for everything, but there almost no spherical effect for such a wide angle. Highly recommended
This met all my expectations , namely the ability to take photos of large subjects without standing a mile away.
After a lot of research I decided to give this lens a try. As I watched reviews and read articles online, I found out that Bower, Rokinon, and Samyang are all the same company but with different names for branding purposes.
Love it! Really started winning contests after using this lens. Its so sharp and so fast. Works great all day and all night.
Incredible capabilities for the price!
