Bosch HMD8451UC

This microwave is a great idea, but is poorly designed and built. When you mount it into a cabinet under a counter, it's very difficult to use. The buttons are not lit or backlit. So unless you have direct light on the keypad, it's difficult to use. I use a flashlight to see the buttons.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a super easy to use microwave and the drawer is super easy to clean!! The buttoms and control panel is simple and can even be used by the grandparents. The drawer blends in and ties the kitchen all together!

We bought this mainly because it fit the space of a previous discontinued microwave perfectly, which meant we didn't need to buy a custom flush mount grill. It's very clean and modern looking and it does an adequate job of cooking.

I was worried this would be small. It's huge for a drawer microwave. I love all the settings on it

Installed this as part of a kitchen remodel over 3 years ago. We love it... have not had any issues, works like a charm, and we continue to get compliments about how great it looks.

We love the looks and the performance of the drawer microwave. There is only one aspect we question and sre not yet sure what tge cause is. The drawer does not always remain closed when we press the 'close' button, so we need to close it manually, but that is forced and should not be needed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have great respect for the Bosch brand but this appliance has shaken my conviction a bit. In less than 6 months there are intermittent times (~1 in 4) when this microwave seems to run just as a fan and the food does not get hot.

Slid right into our Kabinart kitchen island. Easily mounted by the contractors doing our kitchen remodel. Works perfectly, and is a conversation piece for guests who have never heard of a drawer microwave. Frees kitchen counter space, which is great. Matches the rest of our Bosch kitchen appliances.

Great microwave even if a little expensive. Usability factor could be improved but overall it is a good solid product.

Pros: I love the look. We installed this in the island as it was the only location we had for a microwave. Cons: * The digital display is sagging behind the faceplate - you can clearly see some of the circuitry.
