Billingham 555 Shoulder Bag (Khaki with Tan Leather Trim)

I have gone through at least a dozen bags searching for something that just plain works without any "I like it but I wish it had...." I currently have and use two Tamrac's... but still have been searching for the BEST for over 3 years... AND THIS IS IT!

I have been after one of these bags for a while now, and have just received one as a gift. Although the cost is quite high, the product quality is outstanding and will easily stand the test of time.

The 555 is as close to perfect as one camera bag can get - notwithstanding the fact that there are many circumstances where different bags are needed for different jobs, the 555 is perfect for carrying your full kit in one bag.

Billingham bags don't make sense until you concede and go out and buy one. Overpriced, old-fashioned etc, why would you? However, they're so damn practical and beautifully constructed. We run one of these for each of our C100 units.

This was a 'reluctant' purchase as my 445 bag (some 25+ years old) has years/decades of wear left in it. I was forced to upgrade as, having purchased bigger and heavier camera gear, it would not fit comfortably in the 445.

I love my camera bags. I already have a Kata 222-UL backpack and a Crumpler Daily XL but wanted something stylish to keep my Mamiya RB67 camera and lenses in. Now considering the Mamiya RB67 Pro SD is a beast of a camera size wise it needs to be big, and this back delivers on that.

I've had this bag with two delta pockets to attach at each end for over a year now. The bag is still looking like it's near new; it stands up to day-to-day use really well. It easily accommodates a Nikon D700 with grip plus a 24-70mm lens, as well as a 16-35mm lens, 105mm micro, 50mm lens, 70-300mm...
