I have owned a pair of T5p's for a couple years now and I think they are excellent to use for studio use and for audiophile use. I had my cable customized by stefan audioart and also had the drivers replaced due to them being blown by their previous user.

a very good headphones concerning the fact that it is closed. the open version, the T1 gives you a better overall sound quality and a better soundstage. however, i can warmly recommend this one of you cannot go for the open back cans.

T5P produces crispy clear sound over the whole spectrum of sound from high to low frequency. If the bass volume can be increased , it will make the T5P the perfect headphone. I recommend it to anyone who specifically wants to listen to true sound of music.

I bought the T5p as a compromise: I wanted audiophile headphones but they had to be closed-back, so I couldn't go for the flagship T1. To give them the best possible juice, they are partnered with Beyerdynamic's own top of the range A1 headphone amp.
