No inline remote or mic on included cables. Replacing the earpads can be annoying.
The Beyerdynamic DT 1990 Pro headphones are made for professionals, but even though they have a fairly neutral response they're not boring in any way and are great to listen to.

High leakage and poor isolation, by design., Slightly tight on the head., Can sound a bit piercing with bright tracks.
The DT 1990 Pro is quite rightly regarded as Beyerdynamic’s premier model of studio headphones when it comes to handling, design and most pivotally, sound. Everything you could want is waiting right here for you in one neat package.

Slightly recessed mids, Highs can be fatiguing
In this review we take a look at some amazing ‘phone from Beyerdynamic – the DT 1990 Pro’s might rank among the best headphones we’ve ever reviewed…
These are the most comfortable headphones i've ever tried on, the sound is nice a clear. the only issue i had were interchanging the earpads but other than that, I love them!!
must get headphone these headphone are the best in the world for mixing n mastering if you really serious about it get it its worth every penny best headphone i have ever used..
These headphones are fantastic! At first I didn't want to pop on the price tag but I figured "well, if they don't sound right I can always return them" but I'll admit this studio headphones are worth every penny.
These compare really well to any other monitoring headphone. If you don't like the open back and lack of sound isolation, then I recommend going for the DT-1770 or another closed back headphone.
The Beyerdynamic DT 1990 to me is the headphone that is most unapologetic about being a headphone. The mids and the soundstage never try to imitate room speakers, and the sound lies solidly on the neutral side.

highs can be fatiguing and sibilant
I stepped up to these from the DT990 pro 250ohm version, they definitely solve all of the shortcomings of the DT990. The bass is not muddy, mids are actually there and the treble is nice and controlled. I'd call these fun yet neutral.
I love these headphones. There are not headphones available that tick all the boxes for me as do these. The balanced pads are the ones I prefer for a flat frequency response. My studio monitors are very flat, and in the past when I would take my headphones off, my ears would need time to acclimate...
Replaced a set of DT880 (600 ohm) with these. I thought the DT880's were great (and they really are), the 1990's are truly a step above. Great mid-range, controlled bass (not overly "bassy"), highs are typical Beyerdynamic highs.
