I bought 2 of these heads at the same time because I purchased a monopod of the same brand which I actually love, and now I think these heads are fantastic, really smooth pans and tilt operations, very light compared to another brand.
Good value for money. even thought its not a great performer. Better than many for the price. And light weight for the performance. The slider tends to stick when attaching it to the head. Alignment has to be near perfect for it to go easily on. Non-Benro sliders work better.
As a standalone head on a tripod I didn't care for this head. Pans are fine but never could get tilts that I can get on my Manfrotto MVH500AH. Also the locking mechanisms feel very weak. I put this on my slider and it stays there.
i bought this to replace my manfrotto 501DHV and i like this one better. its less bulky, just as smooth and has way more tuning options
Well I bought it know I was going to do use it not to often but after using it I can't stop. It does have its downside which I think is you can't control the panning horizontal you can just unlock it and it's one speed.bother than that it's really durable and great price .
I made a mistake of misunderstanding the product description and thinking that the head had pan and tilt but it does not pan. Luckily my monopod has panning so that takes care of that issue. Otherwise, the quality of the product is amazing. Benro is Benro. You know it's quality.
I have 2 of these on different sticks. After 2 years, the QR plate release button broke into two pieces. I've searched, buy can't find a replacement part for it, or any parts except the QR plate. I'm really dreading sending the whole thing in to pay to replace a $2 part (guessing).
Ok, so this fluid head is great but I can't give it quite a 5 star rating and here is the reason why. When I mount it onto my slider, it doesn't quite have a 360 degree or even a 180 degree pan.
Great video head. Very light and good price
