If you are not ready to pay "professional price" for professional mic, this is a very good choice. Voice recording quality is on the high level, probably better than you can get anywhere else for the price. USB interface gives it a lot of versatility in applications.
Really enjoying the mic; the sound quality is solid for voiceovers and youtube video.
We use this with Audacity to record voice/piano/trumpet - it does a fine job with just a bit of tweaking.
It would have been nice to have a volume control but still great at this price.
INSTALLATION. First several attempts to connect resulted in error message about overloading the USB port, but works fine since. CLARITY. I recorded several less common instruments and made my own ring tones. Dobro, kalimba, jaw harp, and pan pipes sound especially good. LEARNING CURVE.
I expected the low volume from the many reviews i watched and read ,, but with audacity , i was able to bring up the volume,, i use this for hip hop vocals
A great all round mic for doing voice over content for YouTube.
INSTALLATION I can't figure out how to install this microphone, i've been trying and trying, I can't even use it yet because I can't install it.
Built to last, good sound quality, easy to install, competitive pricing. My rating is based on the same price range of products. In comparison with a Sennheiser MK4, it is close to Sennheiser, but Sennheiser has more emphasised low frequencies & provices louder sound output.
