“Bang & Olufsen's Beoplay EQ true wireless earbuds cost $400, so is the high price justified? Yes, if you value heritage, excellent build quality and construction, and a distinct sound signature.”
-
+
Distinct signature sound, Long range, reliable Bluetooth, Wireless charging, Quality metal components and case, Effective adaptive ANC
-
-
Earbuds don't always seat properly in the case, No customization for touch controls, No virtual assistant support
Bang & Olufsen has made its first completely wireless earbuds with electronic noise reduction.
-
+
The case can be charged wirelessly, Clean and well-resolved sound, First B&O plugs with ANC.
-
-
Expensive! ANC provides a closed soundscape, Easily falls out of the ears, No voice control.
The long-established Danish manufacturer of high-quality consumer electronics B&O tout the latest addition to their True Wireless portfolio as offering precise, powerful playback and effective suppression of outside noise, with the Beoplay EQ claiming to combine high passive isolation with hybrid...
B&O Beoplay EQ deliver detailed and expressive audio that's a level beyond all but the most premium wireless earbuds. I have some issues with the controls and fit, but they're minor – overall, these are excellent headphones for the premium crowd.
-
+
Expressive, natural, detailed sound, Premium looks and build, Good noise cancellation overall, Volume controls on-device
-
-
Slightly odd fit, Touch controls are iffy, ANC doesn't handle wind well
The stylish Bang & Olufsen Beoplay EQ earphones deliver relatively accurate true wireless audio and solid noise cancellation, but their brand name pushes the price a bit high.
-
+
Rich bass depth and excellent high-frequency clarity, Solid noise cancellation, Wireless charging case
-
-
Expensive, No on-ear track navigation controls, Overly simplified EQ
The immense popularity of true wireless earbuds means even traditional hi-fi brands like Bang & Olufsen can ill afford to sit out. This is why we have the Beoplay EQ, the brand’s first-ever true wireless earbuds. Bang & Olufsen are reaching for the stars with the Beoplay EQ.
-
+
First-rate build quality, Excellent sound quality, Clear, airy treble, Responds well to EQ, Decent battery life, IP54 dust and water resistance
-
-
Fit was an issue, Lacking sub-bass, ANC & transparency modes are average, App is quite basic, Pricey
The Bang & Olufsen EQ are perhaps a slightly less individual than the brand's usual designs, but they make for a very well-focused product. You get excellent detail from the sound and a great range of features, but the noise cancellation doesn't match the best options out there.
-
+
Luxurious and tactile standard of materials, build and finish, Expansive, detailed sound, Great technical specification
-
-
Can sound slightly ‘safe’ in absolute terms, No voice-control, Lots of very capable alternatives
A premium pair of true wireless noise-cancellers for music lovers with cash to burn
-
+
Great design and very comfortable, Balanced, detailed sound, Adaptive ANC on board
-
-
Noise-cancelling is good, rather than truly great, No voice assistant support, Controls can be fiddly
These in-ears are, without doubt, the best pair of true wireless 'buds launched by Bang & Olufsen so far. They offer a comfortable and secure fit, stunning sound quality, and effective active noise-cancelling (ANC) for keeping you locked away in a world of superb immersive sound.
-
+
Fantastic detail and bass performance, Attractive and comfortable design, Wireless charging is a plus, Strong active noise-cancelling (ANC) and call performance, Dust- and splash-resistant
-
-
Cradle design isn't the most practical, Overall battery life isn't the best, They're quite expensive
-
+
Fantastic sound!
-
+
Noise cancelling works well
-
+
Great sound, clear as a bell, comfortable fit, easy charging.
-
-
No
-
+
Great quality and design. Case is a thing of beauty. Touch controls with well.
-
-
Too big - unstable in ear. Not loud enough.
-
+
Good clear sound
-
-
They fall out too easily
-
+
I think B&O have stopped making this model so the sale price was amazing. However, they are still supported in the app. The quality is superb and so is the sound.
-
-
If you have other Bluetooth Wi-Fi gadgets going on in your house, I found that getting the buds to connect to the app is problematic. It recognises them ok, but I had to go outside to connect!
-
+
Sound quality.
-
-
Could do with large size comply foam tips being included.
-
+
Fantastic sounds and great quality throughout

+
