The wire-free B&O Play Beoplay E8 earphones deliver high-quality Bluetooth audio and an app that allows you to set your EQ preferences, but feel a bit overpriced.
-
+
Powerful audio performance with deep bass and crisp highs. App features adjustable EQ. Very secure in-ear fit. Excellent mic clarity.
-
-
Expensive. Transparency mode can be confusing before adjustments are made.
My hope when I stuck the $300 Beoplay E8s into my ears for the first time was that they’d immediately stand out as the best truly wireless earbuds I’d ever tried. For that kind of money, and with B&O Play’s strong reputation , why shouldn’t they?

+
Premium, unobtrusive design, Nice carrying case, Comply foam ear tips in the box, No audio delay when watching videos

Too many dropouts to justify high price, Annoying bug shifts music balance to left earbud, Case uses MicroUSB, Average battery life, Frustrating / annoying firmware update system
The Beoplay E8 true wireless earbuds have a great battery life and surprisingly good sound, but the high price and annoying connectivity make it hard to recommend to anyone that doesn't enjoy burning cash.

Battery life, Pretty good sound, Slick charging case, Transparancy features are great, Playback controls work perfectly
-
-
Price, Doesn't auto-connecting when you open the case, No sweat resistance, Weak EQ options in the app, Uncomfortable
The tiny E8 earbuds are comfortable and full of the quality one expects from B&O Play, but none of this comes cheaply.

Tiny, attractive design, Natural, balanced sound, High-quality build and materials, Transparency mode increases safety, Tight, comfortable fit

Expensive, Middling battery life
One of the most impressive pairs of earbuds on the market has its downsides.
I have to say, I wasn’t expecting too much from these in terms of sound. Most truly wireless earphones I’ve tried have been a disappointment. My main problem with truly wireless earphones is usually that their volume is not high enough.
Unpacking the Beoplay E8 for the first time, you’re struck by the fit and finish of the latest pair of earphones from famed hi-fi equipment maker, Bang & Olufsen.
Bang & Olufsen’s headphones tend to stand out from the crowd, and their new fully wireless mode, the Beoplay E8 , is no exception. The E8 is easily the best totally wire-free headphone I’ve used thus far, with comfortable earbuds that should fit regardless of your ear shape, good battery life of...
There are plenty of true-wireless earbuds on the market, and many options are extremely affordable. But this market has been dominated by low-cost imports where value was the main priority. While these earbuds are getting better, consumers are typically making significant compromises.
I love the look and feel of the Beoplay E8s. B&O crafted an elegant pair of earbuds with a slick leather case to go alongside it. Sound is good but I felt like for the $299 price tag they could have used a bit more bass and may steer some people away.
I used the E8's for pipe organ recordings and so I cannot understand the "not enough bass" comments. I am using Comply tips. They fit perfectly in my ears. I experience few left-ear dropouts if I am not moving around when I listen.

Have beee using it for a week, coming from the much lauded AirPods, which are the obvious comparison.Sound Quality: Amazing, obviously blows the AirPods out of the water. The soundstage, definition and bass are great. Definite my go to headphones at the moment.

Earbud connectivity for left earbud is a challenge. Overall sound is very good and battery life a little less than expected.

Sound is great!

Left earbud connectivity is challenging, drops frequently
Love them! The sound is awesome - usually use Bose products and these are perfect!

Easy to use, secure fit, and fantastic audio! The sound is even more amazing with foam tips.
Superb sound. very comfortable to wear, even for 3 hours plus. I mastered the touch controls after a couple of days without too much difficulty. Easy to connect to phone, tablet and PC. No noticeable drop-outs. The B&O app works well and is useful. And are good looking shouting quality and design.
The earbuds are fairly straight forward to set up however the left earbud constantly "drops out" and both earbuds drop out all together very, very frequently. Even with my phone in my pocket, less than a metre from the earbuds, they still constantly drop out.
I have owned a pair of these (black) for eight months and although I love the fit and sound quality, both earbud housings separated recently (about a week apart) where they are glued. B&O warranty support has been disappointing considering the cost of the earbuds.
I have had two pairs of true wireless stereo earbuds before. Both had terrible dropouts. In the first the left8 would drop out whenever you moved your head left to right so they went back the same day. For the second, they were strong out of the box but dropped out intermittently not long after.
This is a great product, it looks and feels so premium.
