We are using this product for public meetings and it is serving our needs nicely.
I bought three of these mics for use in our church. Bought them to replace the two wireless mics we still have. The three mics all sound great and can pick up voices 1' away . We even tested it with someone wearing one of those wireless mics standing at the mics with no problems.
We use the mic on a lectern at various locations using the house PA Systems. The mic does an excellent job picking up the voice loud and clear. Some systems do not provide phantom power, so we added a phantom power unit to the lectern, and everything works great!
