User Reviews
This and the Sennheisser MD46 are the only, two directional dynamic mics from major manufacturers. The Sen sounds warmer, but has an open cardioid pattern. AT BP4001 is more resistant to ambient and handling-noise, but making it so makes it too wide for most mic-flag-square foams.
We do many location shoots and often have to do interviews in noisy settings, and this mic allows us to get clear audio, even in the most difficult of areas.
