I play single acoustic gigs and was wanting a microphone that sounded more intimate, completely clear and true to what was being put into it. Man is this mic "THE ONE"! My vocals never sounded more natural. I absolutely love it!

Love how they manage to maintain a smooth frequency response when held close up or away from vocal range. I own three and plans are to purchase seven more. Please make sure you tune them well with your monitors and feed back will be cut to very little or none at all when they are turned toward the...
I've been using this microphone for about six months now, playing in a Country/Western band, as well as in a Blues/Rock band. I'm a baritone (chest voice) typically, but have a very high tenor head voice as well.

For live use it has a clean, tight and sonorous sound that tops all my previous live microphones, including the KSM9 and KSM 105 by Shure and...

Durable, Easy To Use, Good Audio, Versatile
The AE5400 is exactly what I was looking for: a hi quality, reliable and durable stage mic. I've been using a Shure Beta 87a for two years and really digging that, but just wanted to try to step up a notch. The AE5400 does it.
*Microphones are very subjective. Some microphones that work for some brilliantly may be disastrous on others. It is therefore important to understand the context in which this review is written and take it with a grain of salt, like all reviews on microphones should be treated.*
