Nevertheless, the 2014 Mac Mini is a solid performer (and your only OS X option) among small-form-factor systems, capable of decidedly more than just surfing the Web or staying on top of social media.

Affordable, Compact design, Decent connectivity, "Haswell" inside

Upgrade options nixed, No quad-core in sight
Overall, there’s not much to distinguish the new Mac minis from the old, save for one key piece of good news: soldering the RAM, ditching the FireWire controller and switching to dual-core processors has enabled Apple to drop the price of the base model to £399 – a clear hundred quid cheaper than...
The lack of user-upgrades is a step backwards and may deter IT admins from deploying the Mac Mini.

Compact desktop design, Lower price and stronger performance than previous models, Thunderbolt 2.0

RAM now soldered onto motherboard, Prices exclude monitor, keyboard and mouse
The Mac Mini remains a stylish, very compact desktop with the ability to drive greater-than-HD displays. It’s no games machine, but it does make for a very nice general productivity box.
The Mac mini gets a new processor, upgraded Wi-Fi and Thunderbolt 2, but its lack of upgradability and a quad-core option may be a deal-breaker for some.
Less than a year old and it crashes a lot. The phone tech support is no better or worse than any other tech support. Now I get to take it in and hope their tech support will fix it.

It's small and cheap.

It crashes, doesn't play nice with the non apple monitor and the super touchy mouse eats batteries.
Ok..let me be really honest with you....I was skeptical about this little Mac...first b/c it's an outdated Mac hardware (older intel i5 processor, 4GB of RAM and a 5400rpm HDD). But when using it for a few days I completely changed my mind about this little beast.
This is my 2nd Mac mini. I was happy with the 1st, and am equally happy with the 2nd! If you are looking for a great desktop option that you can customize (i.e. add your own monitors, speakers, etc) this is it!. Great for school, work, or leisure. I primarily use my for work.

Easy To Set Up, Easy to transport, Easy To Use, Fast, Powerful
I love Apple, but this product although convenient for travels, and size.. Is lacking the camera. Knowing how apple loves to charge extra and dismantle an entire computer to all separate... Well I'm not happy about it. Come on!

Easy To Set Up
First experience with mac-mini - good so far. It required new key board and several other items because I was using a windows computer earlier.
Very good processing speed and great for recording...im using logic pro x and have had no issues.I have it hooked up to a flat screen tv...Very good quality...
faster than expected found here for bit low but this one for some reason, i felt comfortable works according to what it was described for. liked and this one is purchase. would say recommend works as described....seems to be durable
Great Mac just takes some getting use to when coming from windows
It is my first MAC. I was fed-up with Microsoft operating systems. My daughter had been using MAC's since her first days of college and swayed me. So glad I did. This little machine does everything I need and more.
